The Sales Network Regional Manager (SNRM) is responsible for driving regional sales performance, expanding merchant partnerships, and ensuring strong execution of field operations across the Philippines.
The role leads a multi-layered field organization—including Area Supervisors, Sales Team Leaders, Promoters, Sales Field Risk Officers, and Sales Field Trainers—to ensure balanced growth across sales, compliance, and capability development.
The SNRM ensures that BillEase's BNPL (Buy Now, Pay Later) services are effectively delivered through high-performing teams, compliant processes, and strong merchant relationships.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales & Regional Growth
- Own and deliver regional targets: disbursements, app downloads, merchant activations, and repeat usage.
- Cascade targets from national to area level through Area Supervisors.
- Drive performance management rhythms (daily huddles, weekly reviews, monthly business reviews).
- Maximize seasonal and regional opportunities (e.g., payday cycles, mall-wide sales, 13th month peak season).
2. Field Organization Leadership
- Directly manage and develop:
- Area Supervisors (AS) – responsible for clusters of territories/stores
- Sales Field Risk Officers (SFRO) – ensuring compliance and fraud prevention
- Sales Field Trainers (SFT) – responsible for training and capability building
- Ensure strong coordination across functions to balance sales growth, risk control, and people development.
- Build a leadership pipeline by coaching Area Supervisors and identifying future leaders.
3. Area Supervisors Management
- Set clear KPIs for Area Supervisors (sales, productivity, merchant performance).
- Review area-level performance and enforce accountability.
- Guide AS in:
- Managing Sales Team Leaders and Promoters
- Optimizing store coverage and deployment
- Driving execution in malls and retail locations
- Conduct regular field immersions with AS to validate execution quality.
4. Sales Field Risk Management (SFRO Oversight)
- Oversee Sales Field Risk Officers to ensure:
- Proper customer verification and application handling
- Adherence to credit and fraud prevention policies
- Early detection of suspicious activities in the field
- Balance sales targets vs. portfolio quality (avoid reckless selling).
- Act on risk reports and implement corrective actions in high-risk areas.
- Coordinate with Risk and Credit teams for policy alignment.
5. Training & Capability Development (SFT Oversight)
- Lead Sales Field Trainers in rolling out:
- New hire onboarding programs
- Refresher trainings for promoters and merchants
- Product and process updates
- Ensure consistent training coverage across all areas, including provincial teams.
- Monitor training effectiveness through conversion rates and productivity improvements.
- Institutionalize coaching culture at Area Supervisor and STL levels.
6. Field Sales & Promoter Management
- Ensure Area Supervisors effectively manage:
- Sales Team Leaders (STLs)
- Promoters deployed in malls, retail stores, and activations
- Maintain strong in-store execution:
- Active selling and customer engagement
- Proper product explanation (BNPL terms, repayment structure)
- Address manpower challenges such as attrition and absenteeism.
7. Merchant Acquisition & Relationship Management
- Drive merchant expansion through Area Supervisors and direct engagement.
- Strengthen partnerships with:
- Appliance and gadget retailers
- Furniture and lifestyle stores
- MSMEs and regional chains
- Maintain relationships with mall operators (e.g., SM, Robinsons, Ayala) and key store decision-makers.
- Ensure merchants actively promote BillEase and follow proper processes.
8. Territory & Coverage Optimization
- Oversee territory planning across NCR, Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao (as applicable).
- Ensure balanced deployment of:
- Promoters (sales)
- SFROs (risk coverage)
- SFTs (training support)
- Identify expansion opportunities in underserved but high-potential areas.
9. Operational & Compliance Excellence
- Ensure strict compliance with:
- Company policies
- Regulatory requirements (e.g., BSP, Data Privacy Act in the Philippines)
- Enforce ethical sales practices and proper documentation.
- Monitor audit results and implement corrective action plans.
10. Market Intelligence & Local Insights
- Consolidate insights from AS, SFROs, and SFTs on:
- Customer behavior and credit trends
- Competitor activity
- Regional buying patterns
- Provide actionable recommendations to improve product, pricing, and sales strategies.
11. Reporting & Stakeholder Management
- Deliver comprehensive regional reports covering:
- Sales performance
- Risk indicators
- Training effectiveness
- Collaborate with HQ teams (Sales, Risk, Marketing, Operations).
- Represent regional concerns and advocate for necessary support or changes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
- 5–8+ years experience in consumer finance, fintech, or retail sales in the Philippines.
- Proven experience managing multi-layered field organizations (supervisors, trainers, risk roles).
- Strong understanding of BNPL or installment financing models.
- Willing to travel extensively across regions.
