Job Overview: The Onboarding Specialist will play a critical role in ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience for new hires. This role involves coordinating all aspects of the onboarding process, from pre-boarding activities to the first days and weeks of employment. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to provide a positive onboarding experience that sets new employees up for success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition from offer acceptance to day one.

  • Prepare and collate pre-employment requirements

  • Conduct orientation sessions and introduce new hires to company policies, procedures, and culture.

  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure all necessary arrangements are made for new hires, including IT setup, workspace preparation, and access to required tools and resources.

  • Serve as the main point of contact for new hires, addressing any questions or concerns they may have during the onboarding process.

  • Assist in the development and continuous improvement of onboarding programs and materials.

  • Track and report on the progress of new hires during their onboarding period, providing feedback to managers and HR.

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations throughout the onboarding process.

  • Support other HR functions as needed, including recruitment, employee engagement, and training.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred but not a must - Fresh graduates are welcome to apply

  • Proven experience as an Onboarding Specialist, HR Coordinator, or in a similar role.

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

  • High level of integrity and professionalism in handling confidential information.

  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
